Mumbai Apartment That’s All About Bold Colors and Big Stories

Set in Mumbai’s Nariman Point, Choir of Memoirs is a 2,400 sq. ft. apartment that seamlessly blends modern design with a sense of history. Designed by Unbox Design Studio, this home tells the story of a family that has lived there for over five decades. The design honors their legacy by incorporating heirlooms and cherished memories into a fresh, contemporary space.

The apartment is tied together by bold pops of color—red, blue, and yellow—that flow through the living spaces, while the bedrooms take on a calmer vibe with single-color themes. Natural materials like cane and jute, along with lush greenery, create a connection to the stunning seaside views.

This home is all about contrasts: vintage charm meets modern style, traditional elements mix with cutting-edge materials, and the past and present come together to create a space that feels both timeless and vibrant. Choir of Memoirs is a celebration of a family’s story, reimagined for the present.
