Address Home’s newly opened store on Remount Road, Kolkata, was an 80-yearold railway dockyard with domes. Used as warehouses to store rice and jute during the days of the British Raj, the space has been transformed into a stylish urban home decor store. “We kept the industrial look of the warehouse pretty much untouched, with rustic metal exteriors and an antique dockyard feel.
Th e store combines modern industrial chic with an old world charm,” states Rajat Singhi, Founder & Creative Director of Address Home. The store anchors a cuttingedge decor range that is global in its appeal and enriched with traditional inspirations. “I travel around the globe selecting products and interacting with top designers around the world.
From German hand-blown glass vases, European crystal lights, and planters and decor pieces from Bali to French handcraft ed acrylic chairs, each product is indicative of the brand’s contemporary chic aesthetic,” adds Rajat.
