A sort of an illusion for a home as per the owner’s request, which was quintessential to achieving a per-eminent grade and class. A beautiful villa by AVG Architecture en Interiors
Impressions: Benoy Sebastian
The villa located in Gurugram is modern with simple interior styles, has practical spaces and expresses elegance along with the personality of a clutter-free space. While we may often think of pastel colours as appropriate for young spaces only, the truth is that they can take on a much more mature feel when handled with the right approach.
The villa has four floors consisting of a formal living, dining, bedroom and terrace area for a family of seven members with three generations staying together. The interiors represent quality spaces defined by the light colours that create a very social and familiar atmosphere. In the basement, the formal living and quirky bar in greys, white and peach create spacious and luxurious experience.
A unique stone inlay paneling on the central core is the focal point of the overall space. The ground floor double height stairway with magnificent art paneling as backdrop for the entrance hall leaves one intrigued. Contrasting black Italian marble has been incorporated on different surfaces to break the monotony of the beige flooring. The minimal sofa, unique pendant lights and patterned circular rug complete the look. On the first floor, sophisticated, elegant, and clean lines describe the decor of the master bedroom.
The master toilet is an extension to the bedroom with hints of greens and wooden textures. The meticulous attention to detail in the interior furniture is enough to see the serious investment of design time that has been undertaken. The villa is more splendid and attracts all eyes when lighted up at night amidst its harmonious colours.
