Celebrated kitchenware and dinnerware brand Arttd’inox’s Bengaluru store designed in a classic and ingenious framework is eye-catching

Located in a colonial era building dated 1893, the Arttd’inox store is designed by Sanjay Agarwal of renowned Bengaluru design firm FRDC. Arttd’inox along with Cinnamon – a famous boutique for designer products, revamped the vacant building for retail purpose. The 1,200 sqft store has Indian architectural features like a central courtyard that is open to sky with spaces built around. The front verandah makes for a welcoming entrance to the premises. Restoring the original roof built on Burmah teak purlins and rafters and the lime plaster with exposed electrical wiring was quite a challenge for the architect. Arched windows seen in the store bring in abundant natural light along with pleasing views of the outdoors. Long drop ceiling fans, usually seen in traditional homes are an eye-catching feature in the store. “With this store, we attempted to recreate the feeling of the Indian Colonial era led by a retail environment. The history of the building was untouched, wherein we added a dash of modern retail experience,” explains Deepikaa Jindal, MD, JSL Lifestyle Limited (Arttd’inox).
One of the country’s leading brand in lifestyle stainless steel products, they believe innovation and design should be at the core. They also strongly believe in the fact that stainless steel though not a favourite among those looking for luxury and style, is the most hygienic and durable metal. Apart from the awe-inspiring interiors, the store has on offer sleek modular kitchens and exceptional tableware in varied designs.
