A luxurious family resort in Dubai, Fairmont The Palm is garnished with unconventional decor and Arabic finesse overlooking the Arabian Gulf and the amazing Dubai skyline. Unveiled in 2012, the property features 381 guestrooms and suites, two presidential suites, 3,000 sqm of meeting space, outdoor leisure facilities with a beach restaurant and a private club amongst many others.
The landmark destination was developed with the help of renowned architecture firm DSA Architects International. The brief was to match the prestige and prominence of the world’s largest manufactured island, and the result was achieved through a contemporary design pursuit brushed with Arabic influences. Natural elements of sand and sea were seamlessly incorporated in an exotic colour palette of beige, ecru, tan and light hues complimenting the natural building materials of granite and marble.
The place offers a novel dining portfolio for guests on the Palm Jumeriah with six restaurants and lounges that offer myriad cuisines and drinks. The Cigar room features elegant chic surroundings highlighted by dark and rich leather furnishings, mahogany lined flooring and a flame lit back wall. The Brazilian restaurant, Frevo has a colourful ceiling and relaxed dining arrangements while Seagrill on 25 degree Restaurant & Lounge embraces a prime location overlooking the Arabian Sea, an ideal escape for a relaxed evening.
The Mashrabiya Lounge is set against the backdrop of a contemporary arabesque design and offers a range of delectable cuisines including award winning afternoon tea program. An international restaurant Flow serves family style cuisine and offers a private dining area for up to 30 guests. Two signature terrace suites showcase modern decor suffused with Arabic design elements, including rich carpets, soft furnishings, marble and wood panelling.
These suites also feature a spacious living area, outdoor terrace, dining area and a multiple en suite bathroom. Guests can enjoy spectacular 180 degree views of Dubai marina skyline and Palm Island with an access to a full range of Fairmont gold services and amenities. The impressive 17,200 sqft Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont The Palm comes alive with its contemporary approach to traditional facilities, luxury treatment rooms and social spaces.
